Work Continues on the Recovery and Job Creation Project in Azzoun Municipality

Azzoun Municipality continues implementing the road infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation project, part of the Recovery and Job Creation Program – Labor-Intensive Infrastructure component. This program is funded by the World Bank in partnership with the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF), the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Local Government, and the Palestinian Ministry of Labor.

Work is ongoing at various locations throughout the town and includes the construction of box culverts, retaining walls, and sidewalks, as well as road maintenance and rehabilitation. This contributes to improving infrastructure, providing temporary job opportunities for residents, supporting recovery efforts, and strengthening the resilience of the community.
