Azzoun Municipality Receives Director of the General Authority for Civil Affairs in Qalqilya

Azzoun Municipality today received Mr. Muhannad Shawar, Director of the General Authority for Civil Affairs in Qalqilya Governorate, at the municipal headquarters. The meeting was attended by the mayor, several council members, and staff.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments concerning the town of Azzoun, most notably the closure of all entrances to the town by the occupation forces, and the resulting daily suffering of the town's residents and disruption to their daily lives and economic activities.

They also discussed a number of other issues related to the ongoing violations committed by the occupation against the citizens, and ways to address these violations and mitigate their effects in cooperation with relevant authorities.

During the meeting, Azzun Municipality affirmed its continued commitment to addressing the town's issues, defending the rights of its residents, and continuing its efforts with all official institutions to alleviate the suffering of the citizens and strengthen their resilience.
