Azzoun Municipality Launches "Breaking the Economic Siege" Campaign to Revitalize the Town's Markets and End the Injustice of the Collective Punishment Policy of Closing the Town's Entrances

On Saturday, the Azzoun Municipality organized a joint demonstration with merchants and residents of the town to condemn the ongoing closures imposed by the occupation on its entrances for over three years. These closures have caused a crippling economic paralysis and severely restricted the lives of the town's residents. The municipality and merchants issued an urgent appeal to Palestinians in the West Bank and neighboring villages to visit Azzoun and shop in its stores, emphasizing that the town's markets are well-stocked with all kinds of goods. They stressed that this influx represents a concrete step towards breaking the siege and supporting the resilience of the residents.
